Our church has so many great people that contribute in a variety of different ways. We recognise that each member plays an important role because God has made us unique with different skills and personalities. The church also has a dedicated Board of Trustees made up of Elders and Deacons

Matt Huckle
Senior Pastor
Matt is married to Emma and they have three children, Jonah, Lucy and Ava. Matt likes football and supports Portsmouth Football Club. Matt has a passion for growing leaders and supporting the church as it steps into that which God has in store. Matt loves to preach and teach God’s word and has served at Testwood for over 10 years.
Jim Shepherd
Associate Pastor
Jim is married to Jessica, and they have two sons, Christian and Elijah. Jim has served as a Pastor in the church for over 7 years, first as the Worship Pastor, and now as the Associate Pastor. He loves to lead worship and encourage people to grow in their love for the Lord and their discipleship to Him. Jim also works alongside Megan on pastoral care and small groups. He loves a Co-op Meal Deal, and supports Leicester City Football Club, through the good times and the bad!
Hannah Shepherd
Community Pastor
Hannah is married to Jordan and they have a son called Caleb. Hannah loves talking to people and getting to know people’s stories. Hannah loves to study the Bible and talk about Jesus in a way that inspires, encourages and draws people to him. Hannah loves to eat ice-cream, watch football, and spend quality time with friends & family.
Sarah John
Children's Pastor
Sarah's had a great time working in the Kids department at TBC for over 10 years now. She gets to work with amazing kids in fun, creative and reflective ways on Sundays, at TBC Fridays, and with schools, and she loves seeing kids grow in faith as they find out more about the great big God who made, knows and loves them. Some of her favourite moments of the year are usually the crazy-busiest, when the church is full and buzzing and making God smile.
Kat Frowd
Children's Pastor
Kat is married to Jon and they have four daughters, Rose, Beth, Emily and Esther. Kat’s love of God is evident in the love she shows for her family and for others. She is a qualified teacher and loves maths. She loves to spend time playing and helping children to learn and she loves a good chat over a cup of tea.
Nicky Edwards
Church Administrator and PA to Senior Pastor
Nicky is married to Graham and they have two lovely daughters, Lucy and Sophie. Nicky loves to see God in creation, from watching a tiny seed grow into a plant, to the vastness of the universe. Nicky enjoys walking, particularly in the mountains of Snowdonia, and gardening and photography.
Paul Lailey
Facilities Lead
Paul is married to Debbie and they have two children, Hannah and George. As Facilities Lead, Paul ensures that the church buildings and equipment fully meet the church community's needs by providing a safe and welcoming environment alongside Nathan. In addition to his work at church, Paul also teaches Safeguarding and First Aid and when he has spare time, he likes to spend time with his family, and watching Coronation Street.
Nathan Parry
Programme Lead
Nathan works across a number of areas and ministries. “If you want something doing and doing well, he’s your man.” Nathan is multiskilled and always happy to support projects and initiatives. Nathan also serves on the worship team. Nathan is a brilliant drummer and sound technician and such a blessing to the church family.
Megan Murray
Pastoral Assistant
Megan has a pastoral heart and loves people. Megan often visits people and always makes sure that those who need encouragement, get it. Megan co-ordinates the pastoral care team and supports the important work of the small group leaders. Megan loves spending time with her grandchildren.
