We believe that worship is not passive but rather an active part of our Christian walk. It takes place in both our gathered times of singing (when we meet at church) and also whilst we’re scattered within our community (perhaps at work or whilst we spend time with family and friends). We want to be a group of believers that engage in worship as a lifestyle – (Romans 12:1-2).
The bible teaches that we are made in God’s likeness (Genesis 1:27). In the beginning God created, bringing beauty to life he models to us as his creation the joy of being creative. When we worship God we seek to be creative in our expression but always keeping God’s word at the centre of our devotions.
We rely upon the power of the Holy Spirit to lead us as we worship. We want to be a people that worship God in Spirit and in truth – (John 4:24).
We are blessed to have a large team of excellent Musicians, Singers and Technicians who faithfully serve week in and week out through practice, rehearsal and leading worship on a Sunday.
We seek to remain contemporary in our approach to sung worship whilst we also sing hymns and choruses that have blessed God’s people throughout generations.
