Let’s connect in community groups
We would like to invite you to attend our next welcome evening. This is a great opportunity to meet members of the church staff, and of course, others that are new to Testwood Baptist Church. Use the link below to book in.
Let me tell you about ‘Coffee, Cakes & Conversations’
Katrina Elkins – Church Administrator
There’s nothing like connecting over coffee and cake. We love to meet together in the Hub at the front of the church on a Tuesday to connect and catch up. Maybe you like a cappuccino, or a latte, or simply just want to chat with someone about what’s happening in your world. Come along on a Tuesday between 10-12am. I’ll see you there.
Just Walk In
Let me tell you about ‘Men’s Night’
Chris Kidd – Men’s Ministry Team
Gentlemen, let’s meet up as guys to encourage one another in our faith and to build each other up. Invite your mate, grab a drink and let share the things on our minds.
Keep an eye out here for upcoming events.
See you there
Contact the church office for more information.
Let me tell you about the ‘Christmas Craft Market’
Janice Tuck – Event Organiser
This is a great opportunity to join with others and enjoy getting creative with craft. There is also the opportunity to buy some Christmas presents from the craft stalls, watch demonstrations and enjoy some Christmas refreshments. Watch this space for news of a Spring craft evening!
Let me tell you about ‘Sessions’
Jim Shepherd – Worship Pastor
Sessions is an informal environment for anyone who plays an instrument, loves to sing, has a passion for performing arts or perhaps has media skills/Technical Skills. It’s a great opportunity to come and play / sing with others, learn and develop through training and also to audition for the worship team at Testwood Baptist Church.
Sign-up through MyChurchSuite or via the worship page on the church website. Contact Jim Shepherd for more information.
Look out for event details
Let me tell you about ‘Bereavement Cafe’
Janice Tuck – Evangelism Pastor
This Bereavement Café offers a space where people can talk about the pain of loss and also find strength and courage in knowing they are not alone.
This drop in café is not designed to be a counselling session. It is a supportive environment for reflection and conversation; a place where people will be able to find mutual support and encouragement when they need it most.
Just Walk In
Every third Monday in the the church
CAMEO (Come And Meet Each Other) provides an opportunity for people to connect and meet with others in a relaxed social environment. All are welcome. Hot drinks will be provided and look out on Testwood social media for news on a variety of social events.
