Section: Women's Ministry

For some years there has been Women’s Ministry happening within Testwood Baptist Church.

The beginning of 2007 saw the Women’s Ministry becoming more organised with the formation of a team to head it up. The team is Megan Murray, Janice, Hev, Rachel & Fi.

Our Ministry Purpose and Vision is

To reach out and equip women in order to encourage and inspire them to reach their full potential as Christian women by enabling them to live lives that are secure in the Christian faith in addition to constantly being transformed by Jesus Christ.

Our Ministry Mission is

To provide varied opportunities i.e. seminars, lectures, meetings, evenings, groups etc. for women to:

• Build relationships by establishing friendship through mentoring, counselling, advising and supporting others
• Discover and develop their spiritual gifts
• Learn new practical skills
• Worship and pray together
• Share experiences in a supportive environment
• Have fun!

We are hoping to organise various events that will appeal to women of all ages, please watch the Sunday news sheet or this web site for more information.

Please pray for the women of the church and especially for us as a team as we seek to serve God in this way.
