Youth and Families Matter
We are involved with a wide range of community and social activities.
Youth and Families Matter (charity number 1128524) is the church's community project. We offer support to children, young people and families in our local community.
The project aim is to help meet the increasing needs of children, young people, and families through support, training and education.
Examples of Work:
- Parenting courses for parents of pre-schoolers, junior age, or of teenagers.
- Several other courses, including self-esteem, anger management, support for parents of children with additional needs
- Befriending individuals and families.
- Offering practical help as an agency for the Basics Bank project.
- Schools work.
- Detached youthwork as in the Streetwise project.
- Holiday playschemes and activity days.
- Working with other voluntary or statutory agencies.
