From a background in farm building design, Gordon has been 'building' churches since 1982. He has pastored churches in Dorset, New Zealand, and north-east London, moving to Testwood Baptist Church in August 1998 as Senior Pastor. Gordon is an enthusiastic cricketer (playing for local team Swan Green), he supports AFC Bournemouth & enjoys photography as a hobby. Gordon is married to Janice who is the Pastoral assistant. Gordon and Janice have 2 sons, Neil (married to Laura) & Andy, and a daughter, Lindsey (married to Andy Morgan.)

Associate Pastor - Leigh Barnard | |

Leigh Barnard joined us as Associate Pastor in September 2009. He is married to Hayley and they have two children, Oscar and Robyn. Leigh is an accomplished musician and has led worship at various national and international events, such as Spring Harvest.

Youth Pastor - Ray King | |

 Ray joined as Youth and Children's Pastor in September 2004. A lifelong West Ham United fan, born and brought up in North East London, Ray has been involved in full-time youth ministry for the last 15 years taking him to such exotic places as Wimborne, Springbourne, Grimsby, Romania and South Korea. Ray has a passion to see children and young people growing in their love of God and living that out in their daily lives, impacting those around them.

Janice Tuck - Pastoral Assistant | |

Janice combines two part-time jobs – on the pastoral staff of TBC as well as as an Occupational Therapist leading a Transition Therapy Team in Southampton, supporting young people with physical disabilities. Janice enjoys being married to Gordon (see above), spending time with family & friends, reading, event planning & crafts. She is a self-confessed stationery addict! E-mail Janice |
Megan Murray - Pastoral Staff Team Assistant | |

Megan joined the team in May 2011 after retiring from her dental receptionist job. Megan is also part of the wider leadership team, and since the death of her husband Bob, has been freer to serve God and be more involved in church work. She loves interacting with people, and is now more involved with the pastoral care of the church. In her spare time she enjoys being grandma to her six grandchildren. E-mail Megan |
Steve Reynolds - Operations Manager | |

Steve joined the staff team as Operations Manager in 2009 having taken early retirement in 2008 from a 32 year career in a major high street bank. He has been a member of the church since 1986 and is an Elder in the church. Although a farmer's son and brought up on a farm Steve has a passion for anything to do with boats. Recently became a Grandfather is a new experience for him.

Sarah John - Youth Worker | |

Sarah has taught in Key Stage 2 for 10 years in Portsmouth and Southampton; and with husband Paul has loved working with the 11-14 age group at Testwood Baptist Church alongside this. It has been great, both at church and on summer Venture, to see God's impact on young people's lives. She has now left the classroom and claimed office space at church, working part time in the youth and Children's department, whilst looking after Leah, Joel and Neve for the rest of the week.
